Transportation

Nine highways connect Wuxi with important cities like Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. Shanghai-Nanjing Railway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway pass through the city. Railway Stations
There are around 60 express trains stopped at or passed through Wuxi Railway Station each day. The major routes from Wuxi are to Suzhou,Shanghai, Nanjing, Bejing. It takes only 45 min by Express train to get to Shanghai.

Taxi
All taxis should have a meter. Fare is ¥8. The rate will increase ¥1.6-1.8 per kilometer after 3 km drive.One should try to have small change for taxis.
