Taihu Lake
Taihu Lake is just like a bright pearl set in the Yangtze River delta. It crosses Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, where 48 islets of different sizes. 72 peaks and peninsulas along the lake combine to form a panorama of great natural beauty. The best place to view the beautiful Taihu Lake is on the Turtle Head Islet. Turtle Head Islet is an islet stretching into the lake, whose shape resembles the head of a turtle protruding from the water. Taihu Lake and the surrounding magnificence will bewitch your eyes when you climb onto Turtle Head.

Ling Shan Buddha
The Grand Buddha and the historical famous "Xiangfu Temple" nearby are the well-known scenic resorts in today's Wuxi. With more than 80 meter high, the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan is a bronze Sakyamuni standing Buddha outdoors built at the end of 1996. The Grand Buddha lies in the Small Ling Shan named by the famous Great Monk Xuanzang in Tang Dynasty. This is how the Grand Buddha in Ling Shan got its name.

Meiyuan Plum Garden
Located five kilometers (3 miles) west of the city of Wuxi, the Plum Garden in Jiangsu Province has long been known as one of the best places for viewing plum blossoms. The garden backs into Dragon Mountain in the north and faces Taihu Lake in the south. The three elements--mountains, water, and plum blossoms--are combined to create picturesque scenery that fully represents the profound culture of Chinese plum blossom.

Liyuan Garden
The garden is surrounded by water on three sides. You can see green hills in the distance, and at close range, the dike, long corridor, and rockery. The scenery in the garden can be divided into three sections: Man-made hills in the middle section, scenic spots such as long dike and Four Seasons Pavilions in the west section and abundant scenic spots including Spring and Autumn Pavilion and long corridor in the east section. From June to September, the exhibition of lotus is held in the garden. Night tours are also held here from July to September.

Xihui Park
This park, in the northwestern part of town, is dominated by two hills that have become symbols of Wuxi: Xi Shan, after which the city was named, and Hui Shan to the west. The park contains a number of attractions, so there are a variety of admission packages depending on how much you want to see.
